I mostly agree. And Tony, even post-Iron Man 1 wasn't all that different from his father. Willful ignorance was the name of the game for the Starks, and we're supposed to be okay with it because they are "heroes." Sorry, don't buy it. Ignorance when you can't know is one thing. Willful ignorance when you should do but don't do your due diligence purposefully makes you culpable.

The most generous interpretation possible leaves Howard criminally negligent and still morally culpable for not stopping some horrific shit.
