God I've been seeing this picture everywhere lately and I hate it so much (nothing serious - just cannibalism/eating something still alive is a squick for me, and since this is based on an classic art piece no one tags it and I just suffer lol).

It's a balloon shaped like a couple of balloons. If you didn't know the image being invoked, you would have no idea what it was even supposed to be, as several people in this post have shown so humorously. Warning for a thing vaguely shaped like another thing that might need a warning is stupid, sorry. Do you think those Georgia O'Keeffe lilies need nudity warnings? I'm positive the answer is no.

You tried to put words in my mouth and when that didn't work you got all melodramatic. Now you're just playing dumb. It's okay to be squicked by things, but you need to communicate clearly and up front about what your squick actually is and how it applies to the situation you're complaining about. In this case, your squick and balloons have nothing to do with one another. It cheapens the word "squick" when you say you're squicked by something only tangentially related to what's being discussed. Words mean things, especially terms we're trying to bring back into common fandom parlance to avoid the incorrect use of "trigger". I'm sorry you don't like the balloon pic but saying it needs a warning when it doesn't contain the thing you're saying you think needs to be warned for is silly.
