Good god, women saying "You can tell this was written by a man because a woman would have written it this other way because it's not realistic for any woman to act like the woman in it acted" is so much more infuriating to me than any single case of writing could ever be. Thanks for all the times you've said I'm not a woman and don't think like a real woman because I didn't see anything off about the way a man wrote some scene involving a woman.

The writer was a man, but the director was a woman.
