Ugh, 5-7 is still not... good... but after really severe pain for a long time, indeed, any reduction feels great.

I have learned over the last several weeks that I can do a lot more than I thought I could at 8-8.5ish just because, uh... that was as good as it was getting. So today with it actually lower, I went out and did all kinds of stuff. And already can tell I'll be paying for it - but while I'm flat on my back for a day or so, I can get the pics from my spur-of-the-moment "when is the weather going to be this nice again while I'm feeling this tolerable" cosplay shoot cropped and adjusted. :D
