Anyone that knows Batman already knows he is paranoid and doesn't trust anyone except Alfred... like it's not a secret or twist. I don't get why people still get butthurt about that. It's pretty much the basis of his character.

Being the only one amongst the Justice League without superpowers he does have to consider the possibilities of someone going rogue or getting mind controlled... which DOES happen pretty often so it's not entirely paranoia.

"B-but what if Batman is the one that goes rogue?", he still doesn't have superpowers and is not as much of a threat as a murderous villain Superman. Writers being braindead and creatively stunted is a problem amongst all comic books, but Batman being paranoid should not be surprise to anyone. Whether it's justified or not depends on the arc.
