(Anonymous) 2021-05-10 06:30 am (UTC)(link)Also, something that the movie made quite obvious, but that a surprising number of viewers seem to have missed, is that Tony's support for the Accords is basically, "We should operate under oversight, and if sometime in the future we don't like what they're telling us, we can just renege on our agreement." Whereas Cap's position is, "I don't trust the oversight mechanism, so I'm not going to enter into an agreement that I'll then have to abide by."
