I can relate to this some. I don't follow wresting as a sport at all, but last year I started checking out that "Dark Side of the Ring" series and it's fascinating. So many wild stories in that world.

I'm watching the first episode and the levels of weird creepy victim blaming and toxic masculinity is very erm. Hard to watch

Oh, yeah, agreed, there's a whole lot of that floating around in most, if not all, of these episodes, and it's very disturbing to see. But I think seeing and hearing all of that also helps explain why so much of the stupid shit in wrestling over the years wound up happening. It's a glimpse into just how toxic and dangerous those kinds of attitudes and beliefs can be.

I totally get it being a turn-off in terms of watching, though, yes.
