Yeah, me too. And IDK if this is an Unpopular Opinion, but I hold it against the writer/producers/publishing house, to a degree, for being fine with disseminating mainstream content that depicts sexual assault that way.

Like...sexy noncon in appropriately tagged fanfic? You do you. Sexy noncon in pulpy romance novels? Ehhh, I personally loathe it, but it's unlikely that readers of the genre don't know what they're getting into, so whatever. But fuck it, please don't trojan-horse your rape fantasies into mainstream media. IMO it's socially irresponsible to do so.

Should we pass a law that dictates what content can and can't be depicted depending on how mainstream it is and what genre it is? Fuck no! But does it piss me off when mainstream media depicts sexual assault as sexy? Absolutely. I think mainstream media should fucking not do it. Do I think I should have the right to make them not do it? Not remotely. But I'm gonna go ahead and stay mad when they do.
