Yes, this, so much. I was around in the early internet days and remember how privacy was so important and so valued back then, and how much online safety was stressed (and to literally anyone who used the internet, and not just to kids). "You have no idea who you're REALLY talking to, NEVER share personal information with ANYONE on the internet!" was the mantra, and it is really wild to see how it's practically the opposite of that now, and that it happened in such a relatively short period of time. (Altho I suppose from a sociological standpoint? I guess? it's not that surprising, as we "got used to" the internet being a thing, and a result of that familiarity is the loss of fear? Does that even make sense lol I'm kinda high right now but I'd love to read a study on this shit.)
