You're not the only one, though maybe you are more so than me seeing as I am not being anonymous. I even had someone say to me "come on! I'm not a stalker!" when I said I'd rather not reveal my irl name.

Jeez. It doesn't freak me out that some people are fine with sharing their real name, but if someone doesn't volunteer it, IMO you shouldn't ask for it. Let alone try to wheedle it out of them when they say no.

Personally, I've revealed my face on my tumblr before (it was a Halloween picture), but I still keep my real name to myself. Not that someone couldn't potentially use my picture to find out my name. But eh, I'm not that worried about it.
