I can tell when someone is androgynous but not if they're FTM or MTF usually. I assume it's the same for everyone? If not, feel free to prove me wrong.

Well, sometimes they're androgynous and they're cis, too. So I just go "are they?" in a context like this (I assume it's a show about drag queens?) but not really on the street no.

No, Pose is a show about drag balls, during the 80's - vogueing. So slightly different. Not as...exaggerated as, say, Drag Race.
