Steve was trying to prevent more deaths. If Bucky was truly that far gone, steve was likely the only one who could bring him in without getting killed. Also, the authorities weren't trying to bring Bucky in; they were planning to kill him outright without any kind of judicial process or trial. I guess you think extra-judicial murder is OK when it's someone you don't like.

Look, even if you expect the authorities in universe to believe that the Winter Soldier is a victim, Steve basically stole a nuclear missile. And maybe he thinks he’s the only person in the world who could disarm it (debatable), but as far as the rest of the world is concerned, now he’s a rogue super soldier with a nuke.

I mean Tony won't survive without his magic element, so he's about as reliant on his own tech. I think people would quibble with calling Tony enhanced, but he's unquestionably altered and it's weird to pretend he isn't. Just say he can't talk for other people because he shouldn't talk for anyone else (even tho he isn't), don't make it about enhancement which isn't frankly the problem any of these people were having with fake UN.

And Peter isn't a toddler, but Tony shouldn't have involved him regardless because he is a child.

No, let's be clear here. OP said they can't be "normal" not "unenhanced." They can absolutely choose to be normal (as normal as tony whose circulatory system is now controlled by magic element), and for that matter "you can't break international law" isn't in fact something they were entitled to, to begin with. they aren't losing a damn thing, lmao. And lastly....spoke for who how? Wanda was on route for deportation, so as much as Tony should absolutely have said "you're going to detainment if you step off this private property" it's not wildly unreasonable to want her to not get deported. Hulk and Thor were deliberately excluded from this movie because everyone already knows you're not putting them anywhere

Is that still true though? Honest question. I thought he had the shrapnel and arc reactor removed from his chest as of the end of IM3. Now later on, at least by Infinity War, he apparently had some version of it put back in, but it seemed like that was more about the nanotech suit.

I wish they did more to establish that the Flag Smashers were actually bad, because Sam and Torres are after them 100% when all they've done is a rob a bank. They just don't seem that big of a deal even after they've started blowing people up and sure I can reason out why they're bad (they want to go back to a world with half the population and that's just impossible so they're killing people/destroying things for no possible goal) and they go on and on about how they're fighting for their lives but when we see the refugee camps they look better than what we have (bright, open class rooms with 4 students to a teacher and tons of open space) so they don't even establish their plight that well. Like, the whole thing could have used 5 minutes of actually showing us what's going on because it feels like they are relying on a previous movie for the context but that movie doesn't actually exist.

IDK if the (rumored?) plague plot would have fixed these issues but I guess I can't expect Disney to sacrifice mass-market appeal for a slightly better story. They sure haven't in the past.
