It made me feel stupid for liking Star Trek. I think that's about the worst that a movie can be, where it makes you feel like an idiot for choosing to watch it.

If you want to feel better, I actually quite liked it the first time I watched it in the cinema. I think I was blinded by “yay more Star Trek” because the first reboot was decent enough.

But every time I rewatch Into Darkness (not much now) I hate it a lot more. The scales fell from my eyes I guess. Anyway, I’m definitely in the “what the hell was wrong with me?” frame of mind when I think back to that first viewing.
