1) Anything that's come out of Junji Ito's brain, but especially Uzumaki and Gyo
2) Naoki Urasawa's MONSTER
3) Parasyte
4) One Punch Man (specifically the version drawn by Murata Yusuke)
5) Made in Abyss

Some interesting ones that haven't made it to favourite status: Chi no Wadachi (a psychological horror manga about a boy who watches his mother attempt murder), Bitter Virgin (a guy accidentally finds out that one of his classmates had become pregnant through rape, gave the baby up, and now finds himself wanting to protect her), Franken Fran (the dysfunctional genie trope, but with body horror and Frankenstein's monster at the helm), Three Days of Happiness (a guy sells his entire lifespan for 300,000 yen and has three days left to live), and Asano Inio's work (best summed up as depression manifest, although Solanin is less lonely as Oyasumi Punpun).
