True, but the Coen brothers had the most original take on the Odyssey that I've ever seen (O Brother Where Art Thou), so if anyone's going to do it well, it's them.

nayrt - I loved "O, Brother" but it was so different from The Odyssey that it was its own story and that's what I enjoyed about it. I don't think I'd want to see a version of MacBeth that was just the original story with a modern setting, though.
