Got any new OTPs lately? Or ones you've gotten into again?

Fully on board with Tyler/Carlos on 911 Lone Star. And wow was that sex scene a couple weeks ago hot.

How is the show? Seems a bit rah rah rah cops. Is it on B99 (but drama) or Law and order levels?

There aren't many cop characters, actually. Carlos is really the first one. It is mostly firefighter and ambulance characters. And to me both 911 shows are just so ridiculously over the top that I can't even feel about it the way I do normal procedurals. It is just so exaggerated, that I think of it as another universe.

It's mostly about firefighters/paramedics.

I was both so sad they ruined it with the fire, and also thought the fire graphics were very applicable with that scene lol.

Gotten back into Eddie/Venom fic. I thought the trailer would have caused a slew of new fics but no. :(

Also into all manner of Din (the Mandalorian) shipping. Though, DinLuke and BobaDin are my favs.

I watched Word of Honor and fell headfirst into Wen Kexing/Zhou Zishu feelings, I just, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I started beyond the 'two men of dubious morals fall in love' but holy hell the way the two of the grow and develop together, and how they heal through one another just HIT ME SO GOOD.

They've both stolen my heart so much and I am genuinely flabbergasted at how much this show got past the censors(after poking around in the fandom I understand a bit more how they managed this, but it's still absolutely amazing even with the explanations given).

OK, you sold me on this. I'mma try it as soon as I get some time.

I remember last year when I watched Guardian (right after discovering the Untamed, of course) and I was pleasantly surprised by how much they got to show onscreen. I'm definitely watching it, if only because I love the idea that internationally successful Chinese series are about gay people.

Just a quick note as well: there is a proper ending after ep36 that for censorship reasons was paywalled, but you can easily find that online(I found it from a kind individual in the Wenzhou tag on tumblr who ripped and posted it there).

Right? I don't feel as strongly about Zhou Zishu, but I love WKX and his flirting.

Ah see I fell in love with Zhou Zishu because he's an archetype that I love: somewhat stoic man who keeps all his feelings in his chest ~~and then one day he'll die~~ who ends up finding love and OPENING UP and just, I am so soft for that shit man. It kills me. I love WKX too though, his outrageous flirting was fantastic and his own 'I don't actually think I deserve this' wrt ZZS also hit me in the feelings.

THEY'RE JUST GREAT OKAY.

I liked ZZ more as time went on, but I feel like his character was shortchanged by the show having to cut back on episodes. His backstory was all over the place and rushed through.

Oh yeah his story did get oddly chopped about, like the nails came and went depending on the episodes needs which was definitely dumb, but I can be forgiving since I know their episode budget was all messed about. It would have been nice to see what they might have done for 40. I still liked what I got despite that though.

Yeah, it was a fun show. I enjoyed it despite the bumpy plot but wow, I really wish they'd been able to film all the episodes they'd originally planned for. The chemistry of the two leads really carried it.

I got back into writing Thasmin fic after rewatching the previous season of Doctor Who.

YES. For the past weeks (or 2 months) I've admitted to my KyoKao brainrot and it's the one thing that convinces me to wake up on most days, and the thing that lulls me to sleep despite feeling tired to the point of being insomniac. Well yeah life is tiring and generally not worth it, but hey! At least I can think of scenarios before going to bed and I can wake up and look forward to the nightly KyoKao. Hooray! It's a pity they have 0.5 fans and I'm all of them. :( Good grief... to think I was into Kyouya, Tamaki and Haruhi and every combination of them when I was a teen and people were still writing OKHC fanfic, and now there's not one remake in sight and all I want to do with my life is KyoKao sigh

With this last patch of FFXIV, I have fallen head over heels back into Estinien/Alphinaud. I had no idea how badly I needed jealous Estinien. Delicious.
