i don't know much about scientology but i think one of their "teachings" is that the fortunate are fortunate because they were chosen by god to have fortune and everything that happens is by "gods will" and should never be questioned, including things like murder. celebrities who accept that moto and live by it are basically just selfish assholes and there may not be a way of changing that.

however, i agree that people who have been basically kidnapped by the church of scientology to work as slaves on their fancy ships absolutely do need to be rescued. the origination of scientology needs to be officially labeled as a dangerous criminal organization and shut down by the US government with its leader imprisoned for life.
