they also have a really fucked philosophy they call "all death is suicide". What that means is everything bad that happens to a person was somehow willed by them to happen. It's kind of the ultimate in blaming victims and I have nothing but contempt for it. (It's not something they publicize, either.)
BTW, the real reason they're so anti-psychology is because back in the 50's when old L. Ron was coming up with the idea in the first place it wasn't a religion, it was a form of therapy. He took it to the American Psychiatric Association and was basically laughed out of the office and he resented the entire profession ever since.
