Silent Hill really sounds like a relic of the past right now (and I'm shivering thinking that so would Castlevania if it wasn't for the Netflix series). It's not my type of game but if I had to try one of these, it would be this or Fatal Frame just because I heard great things about them. And yet... Both are gone it seems.

So true... As both a RE and SH fan I find it bothersome that Konami is giving the middle finger to fans of the series like that. SH1-SH3 were absolute gold and I'd revisit that world and characters in a heartbeat. Oh well. We still have the originals

Capcom understands what they were making, konami either doesn't know or doesn't care. As evidenced by the HD versions and the general decline of the series.

It's nostalgia lying to you, konami remaking silent hill would be a redo of the hd collection at best.
