it's not a matter of your definition. words have meanings. abuse is abuse regardless of intent. psychological abuse is abuse. learn what the fuck abuse is before you run around whining that everyone gets it wrong

This whole words have meanings is such bullshit. I don't even know if this word has the same meaning to you as it has to me because we speak different languages. Yes, they have meanings and their meaning is easily changed, or, worse, distorted. But it's easy to say that someone with a poor upbringing was "psychologically abused" when the world didn't give the family any resources.

NAYRT-- parents can lack resources and try their best and love their kids and still be abusive, holy shit. I loved my parents and they loved me and they absolutely should not have been parents--this is pedophile grandpa, schizophrenic addict dad, alcoholic mom anon. Trying their best doesn't let them off the hook for abuse, fucking hell.

Do I have to say this again? Great, this is how you feel abt your life and family. I feel differently about mine (naturally). We're different individuals with different thoughts and opinions. So? Why should I try to make you feel what I feel or vice versa? What do I have to do with your life?

Have any of those outsiders who trash talk your family actually helped you in getting over it? If they have, great for you. We are different in that sense.

And I really don't care either way, as I am not your therapist

(In other words: some abusers should be held accountable, but some were just mistaken. Were denied an abortion or went bankrupt with 6 children or whatever. I'm giving lousy examples because honestly I am tired of being attacked. Bye)

Don't start shit by saying an abused character didn't have it that bad, psycho bitch.

Re-read this whole thread and call me a psycho bitch again. You're rolling on assumptions.
