I love (/s) how easy it is for privileged people to guilt-trip poor parents who literally could only give their children a less-than-ideal upbringing as if it's their fault or the child's. Oh yeah this is how this world runs

Oh shut up, you privileged asswipe. I'm poor. My problem with my grandfather is he wasn't when he raised me, but he left me alone all the time so he could drink and made me take care of a huge house on my own at 12. I had to cook and clean and take care of him. My mother was poor, and Lord knows she tried. We don't get along, but she tried. She wasn't abusive.

But you come in here, disparaging abuse victims from your lofty, privileged as fuck position, and you can shove it RIGHT UP YOUR GAPING ASSHOLE YOU CALL A MOUTH.

When I say poor I don't mean JUST money-wise, I mean poor in general. Poor in resources. Too young, too uneducated, too unprivileged. I don't even want to go into it - it's not worth it, I don't care what you or I as anonymous on the internet have to say about our families. I was just talking about my feelings about a movie and someone fucking attacked me by interpreting my message in the worst possible way. I'm sorry if any messages hurt you, because we don't have any way of knowing who is trolling and misbehaving and who is being mean on purpose.

No, (and honestly this should be obvious but) I am literally saying that some privileged people will hear others' stories and go wow that's so horrible, go to therapy! as if it's an easily acessible thing or something you should be condemned to because you had a less-than-ideal upbringing. I am not talking here about abuse victims for sure. Though I do think that many people who constantly victimize themselves have no idea and don't care in the slightest about those in worse spots.

No, I'm the one who started this subthread(I was the one who said the Gothel discussion brings out the worst people, or brings out people who're the worst, i.e. You) . You responded, and then another anon called you on your shit. It's confusing, and I understand that. But if you would just think for a minute, then maybe you could connect the dots that you've been talking to multiple people since you made your first post in the thread, and not assume it's always the same anon. But if you were capable of thinking before you type, then you wouldn't have started the shitstorm that you're entirely to blame for.
