Is it just me, or does Worm occupy the opposite position from RWBY on that site? I mean, each RWBY fic loves to analyze the characters and how they react to different situations. I never read Worm itself, but the fics don’t seem particularly interested in whatever personalities the characters originally had—it’s all a vehicle for the plot, or sometimes for developing crossover characters.

SA

Beats me. I never got into either of them, so I honestly am unable to judge. :-)

Sorry about that.

Worm reads like your classic teenager Mary Sue circa 2000 fic so I'm not surprised ficwriters are not into canon characters.

RWBY does kind of get the same treatment, most fics seem to break from canon around volume 3 or so.
