Objectively, an extra, no question about it.

That said, I'm still the protagonist of my own life. I mean, I'm a sad-sack, loser protagonist. I'm one of those unimpressive protagonists from literary fiction who fill you with existential dread as they make you confront your own insignificance, impotence, and mortality. But it's still my life and therefore I'm the main character of it. I've never been the sort to view anybody else in that role.
