In school, a boy told me he loved my dark eyes because "they look like they go on forever."

I would have married him but it was 5th grade.

I felt pretty neutral about my dark brown eyes until a girl I had a huge crush on back then said she liked how my eyes and my hair were the same color. Another friend also pointed out how brown shades resemble polished wood or fall colors. I always think of that when people come up with weird colorism shit, it's all in the eye (heh!) of the beholder.
