Sadly, there are too many people today who equate what fiction people like with what they are and what they believe in real life. These people can't make a distinction between fiction and reality, and they don't believe that anyone can or that there is a real distinction. Liking fictional villains means you condone what they do and would condone a real person doing those things as well. Liking a particular kink only in the fiction/fantasy context means you think that think is fine and dandy in real life too and are probably trying to get others, especially kids, involved in those kinks in real life as well.
