I'd put a journal to this if everyone wasn't going to massively misinterpret the comment and give me grief over it. But I'm not even going to address any of the underlying issues here. That has nothing to do with what I'm about to say, and I'm going to say it, and I'd like to hope you take it seriously for a second, because that means it isn't true. This is my honest opinion, and I'd ask you to give at least a few seconds of consideration.

You are worthless as a person. You have no value as a human being, to society or any individual.

If you did not get hurt at all by that, if you blew it off, then it's true, because you have casually dismissed people as being worthless and needing to die for disagreeing with you on, guess what, highly controversial issues, have displayed militant levels of intense dedication to refusing to allow a person to be fictionally portrayed as another sexuality, and do not feed me that crap about depriving television of its one lesbian pundit, because they are depriving no one, just offering an alternative which is understood to be untrue. You have expressed the basic sentiment I have above, and moved on with your life, and if you just glazed over it there, that means you don't understand what it means. Which would be fine if you were using it as a generic insult, but I get the sense you honestly meant it, and I'd hope you think it actually means something.

So guess what, this is a personal attack on you. I hate you. And you should not let that ruin your life, or even your day, or even your next ten minutes. But if it did not ruin your five seconds, if it had no impact on you, you have serious issues.

I hope it did, and I would like you to think about it, about whether accusing other people of being worthless human beings is really a rational reaction to them pointing out that you may be overreacting by calling people who write pretend stories that are understood to be pretend and not actually trying to push an agenda.

And if you glaze over all of this, and your only response is going to be another bullshit argument about heterosexism, which I'm not going to touch because like I said, that's not the point I want to make here, then please, I only have one thing to say to you:

Die in a fire. Honestly. I would be happier if you were no longer alive. And if that doesn't matter to you, why do you think it will matter to other people?

Or is this another double standard, something allowed because you are an oppressed minority, and I'm -- apparently not, even though you know absolutely nothing about who or what I am? Got news for you, sweetheart, it only goes so far. Please go kill yourself.

I don't care if you're oppressed. Being oppressed does not stop anyone from oppressing others. And being gay/bisexual/black/asian/trans/queer doesn't get rid of the ingrained heterosexism, sexism, phallocentrism and other prejudices Western society has instilled in us. One manifestation of which is probably turning Ms Maddow straight without regard for the social framework which tells lesbians constantly that "all they need is some good dick."

Wow. This is a little ridiculous, no? The original response here was useless. No one is going to listen to anything you say when you're verbally attacking them. Even if they had a good point to make, it got lost in all the 'you're a horrible person, go kill yourself's And i haven't read all the OP's comments to other ppl but even if they sounded like that, responding that way doesn't help anything, just makes them feel attacked and more upset.

As for the OP's secret. I have no idea who you're talking about, but i don't think that's the important thing. I wanted to say that I do somewhat see where you're coming from. Heterosexism does exist. Just the same as like...reverse racism does. People sometimes feel negatively torwards who they feel are oppressing them.

BUT. I don't think in fanfic its necessarily that. I think in fanfic its usually nothing deeper than, this is what I enjoy reading. These are the characters I think are cute together. Doesn't have to mean you hate the other characters or want to puke at the idea of slash/het.

Everyone is too sensitive in fandom. Its supposed to be a happy place to read and find others with your interests.
