I don't hate MotU, I haven't read it or 50SoG but I think it's a good example of how a long, multichaptered fic with a speedy update pace can keep itself in view and rack up the views/kudos.

To be sure, if I were into twilight, human AU, BDSM fic I'd absolutely want to read MotU. Even if I hated it I'd probably need it to understand the fic landscape because something that big has it's own gravity.
