Hahah yeah. It's been 25+ years and I'm still a little startled anytime I see her name pop up somewhere other than among friends I played her music for to begin with. XD

Couple years ago I actually was walking through the grocery store and a song I didn't know started playing and then the singer started and I went "...whoa WHAT I know that voice, Dar is being played IN MEIJER WTF?!" Turns out it was a track off her new album I didn't have, and like... I am still absolutely boggling that she wound up in the rotation on a grocery store's in-house satellite radio. In the midwest, not New England, even! I'd think she finally hit the big time, but last two times she's come to town she's played the back room at one of the local breweries. ;)
