Not disagreeing with the other scouts finally getting to be princessed, but... how come Moon is the only princess dress and the rest are like... borderline lingerie?

The outer senshi's dresses especially are clinging waayyyyy too much in places.

Seriously. The Outers dresses are a little boring too when compared to the Inners. But maybe Naoko Takeuchi's into drawing borderline lingerie? Those outfits the Sailor Animamates wore were pretty damn risque.

Some of it might be that Usagi's princess dress is based on an actual designer dress and the other ones are likely not?

Also, designing 10 balanced dresses that maintain character importance/social hierarchy, personality, and group cohesion seems like A Lot if one hasn't put a whole bunch of time studying fashion and design principles. (not that Takeuchi hasn't displayed her interest in high fashion, but most of the outfits she's used have been copies/modified from extant looks)
