Most romantic comedies. They typically coast on really questionable, outdated tropes where the conflict comes from one party either stalking or severely alienating the other. How is that supposed to be romantic?

I don't like romantic comedy tropes in particular, but realistically healthy romances are sooooooo boring to watch as entertainment. I like other terrible relationship tropes because they're just fun to watch.

LOL, excellent take, I agree! I like my media relationships problematic and my RL ones as healthy as they can be, it gets all the crap out of my system thank you very much.

Agreed! I wish Hollywood writers would figured out how to write romantic plots that don't hinge on outdated tropes and people doing shit that's Not Okay.
