I hate Lenalee because she IS a sue. Even if I flip flop genders she STAYS a sue. Allen himself has ~magical powers~ and a tragic past but he gets normal reactions from everyone- Kanda is annoyed by him, he is chastised, and he is sort of exiled emotionally for his connection to whatevernumberitis. Kanda gets bitchiness from Lavi and Allen- but is generally good natured and just distances himself. Kanda? People are nice to him but it's rarely returned unless it's a super serious moment. Lenalee? All the time every day at some moment SOMeONE is praising her on how AMAAAAZING she is. Her hair, her abilities, blah blah fucking blah. Even KANDA wuuuuuuvs Lenalee. What a bunch of bullshit. STUPID SUE.

Allen is a pussy who gets emo all the time, but he has fair reason what with being burdened by innocence AND what Mana left him.

Kanda is just emo. He's hot and all but I don't care. :\

Lavi is only a favorite of mine because he's LAVI. He has the worst issues out of all of them IMO- if not second to Allen's.

But at the end of the day

AT LEAST NOT EVERYBODY FUCKING LOVES THOSE THREE.

I dont care for D.Gray-man. Ugh, the characters are all boring stus and shit ugh. But especially Lenalee.

Canon characters can't actually be sues. 'Canon sue' is a tricky term. It might not even be appropriate, but that's a rant for another day. *shrugs* I'll use that tern in this reply anyway.

If you don't care for D.Gray-man at all, then you probably haven't read/watched it as much as people who have. I've read it a lot - if Lenalee is a Sue, then so are all the main characters. Seems to me that you're holding her to a higher standard because she's a girl. And I think you're missing a lot of Lenalee's backstory out. She has major problems, but maybe you didn't notice them. Actually, I would say that Lavi has less problems than Lenalee or Allen.

Characters are allowed to get along well with others, you know? That doesn't actually make them Sues automatically. A Sue would be someone who everyone loved without there being a good reason for it.

Oh and just to verify I'm not a fangirly yaoi fucker.
