Trolli Sour Brite Octopus are my favorite candy ever so I will join this fandom.

I'm not much for gummies but given my fixation with all the different varieties of Lindor truffles, I understand and support. :D

Not OP - I like gummies, but I also really love Lindors! What're your favorite flavors of Lindor? For a long time I never knew there were so many flavors. I'm not sure how it is in other countries, but in Canada stores usually only have maybe five or six of the most common flavors. It wasn't until I went to an actual Lindor store that it was like, oh my god, there's like twenty-five flavors!

Yeah, Lindt stores have a ton of different flavors of Lindor, and sometimes they switch out. You can also order some online, though it gets confusing which is considered bulk and which isn't, lol.

I had some of the fruit flavored ones and was surprised how good they were. They were more "white chocolate" than regular though. Also the matcha and anything caramel/dulce/salted. I don't eat too many of the regular chocolate lindors anymore but the 70% cocoa one usually satisfies.

The 70% are the best! When I was at the grocery store over the weekend the strongest they had was 60% and those are okay but not as good as the 70%.

AYRT - Tossing out more love for the 70% ones. They're my favorite. It's nice that they carry them at grocery stores so I don't have to go all the way to a Lindt store to get them.

And I agree about the surprisingly good fruit ones. I'm not even a fan of white chocolate, but a lot of those white chocolate fruit ones are really excellent.

For a while a few years ago I loved the dark chocolate raspberry ones, and then one day I just stopped liking them (which was fortunate as they were discontinued a little while later).

Holy shit, there's 25 flavors?? Now I'm hungry...

(Anonymous) 2021-06-16 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, there's a lot. Though weirdly, the Lindt website doesn't seem to have them all listed. This isn't totally current, but here's an example of the flavors they had at one point:

They keep discontinuing my favorites, sadly - unless it's just that they're really extremely limited as to where they're being sold. Coffee was my absolute favorite, and the limited edition "holiday spice" they used to have around Christmas. Gingerbread is okay (well I mean, they're all delicious, but...) but not quite the same.

Also used to be seasonal and now I guess isn't, the dark chocolate peppermint. Basically anything dark chocolate is great, the extra dark is right up there without any additional flavors. Matcha and cappuccino are also good, and I was surprised by how much I liked the strawberries and cream, and reeeally want to try blueberries and cream someday.

I honestly didn't ever know they existed at all until a friend of mine mentioned a Lindt store near a con we would be attending together and I was like "okay, sure, I'm up for buying some fancy candy!" (This was before I got sick and eating became a torturous ordeal, of course.) I had no idea what I was getting into, hahah. Bought a big bag with a few of literally every flavor in the store and sampled them all over the next month. And then they kept coming out with more...

Bought a big bag with a few of literally every flavor in the store and sampled them all over the next month.

Nicely done. I've managed to develop the self-control to do that, but my father has not. We bought a 150 piece box to split once, and his 75 were gone in five days. I was slightly scared for his digestive system.

I never got to try the holiday spice ones. They sound really good!

Hahah, to be fair, this was in the early stages of my GI issues coming back so I wasn't eating a whole lot anyway. I think the next year we went back and I got another bag and I pretty much ate a few truffles a day and not much else for awhile (I needed the calories anyway and at that point my doctor was like "okay look, eat ANYTHING if you can").

Both gingerbread and pumpkin spice truffles are pretty close, to be honest. If I hadn't already bought the holiday spice in years past and then bought like 3 bags so they'd last me until July, I probably wouldn't be sad about them disappearing, because those two would do well enough (though also seasonal, boooo). ;)

+++ idea. :D I have a few friends I met at cons who swap truffles when we see each other at the con that usually takes place at New Year's, it's almost like an injoke at this point. =)

I've been feeling the gummy candy love lately, so I might join this fandom.

OP

Thank you so much for making my secret, nonny! <3

It looks amazing and I love it! <3

I've got such a craving for sour gummy worms now.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-16 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd buy in... We had a gummies war in my office with escalation to gummy bears riding gummy llamas (with gummy sloth allies) fighting sour patch kids on one guy's desk. All but the sour patch kids were Trolli. They've got a lot of varieties.

Haribo has gummy dinosaurs too, not Trolli, but probably will be involved if another war breaks out.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-16 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm more of a Haribo stan myself. Twinsnakes are the best sour gummies because they don't have the annoying sugar granules of all of Trolli's sour candies.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-16 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I saw this secret in the secret maker thread and was inspired to eat the rest of my gummy candies because of it.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-16 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I like their gummies, but their commercials always make me think of drugs.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-17 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
If the fandom had trolls they would be Trolli Trolls.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-17 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
the texture of gummy anything makes me want to vomit but honestly, you do you OP. i feel like there's bound to be a fandom for m&m/mars so why not trolli?

what would the fandom look like?

(Anonymous) 2021-06-17 10:19 am (UTC)(link)
not sure how this kind of fandom would work as such... but mostly im just here to say i also love trolli lol
