I figure they needed a romantic Decker song, realised the actress can't sing at all (iirc she didn't have a single line in any of the songs), and ended up settling on Trixie singing *for* Decker as a workaround. Which, a) inappropriate, and b) it shows that Decker's personal life is nonexistent unless it's connected to Lucifer and she has no one else in her life who could have sung a little ditty about the state of her heart for her.
