Does it bother you when any other legs of a love triangle (I'm assuming you mean the actual "love triangle" thing and not a triad, where it's usually presented as "which man will she choose?") get paired up and the third person just gets ignored? Or is it just when the two men get paired off?

Also, your proposed solution sounds like the crappy boring "pair the spares" crap that I hate, so no thanks.
