As an American, it usually doesn't bother me. Honestly, British fandoms have been my faves for so long there are some British words I frequently use myself. And Mum/Mom sound and look so close to me that I rarely even notice the difference.

Also personally I think the British spelling of Judgement is the correct one and hate the American spelling.
