ikr I really hate this painting lol. Last time I mentioned on here about how it grossed me out when someone posted the balloon version of this painting, they got upsetti about it because ItS jUsT BaLlOoNs - disregarding eating human thing about it.

A balloon animal version of a painting depicting cannibalism and gore...shouldn't be tagged with cannibalism and gore? They weren't being ridiculous, the "It's just a balloon!!" anon was.

Jfc you make it sound like I was saying all balloons = gore. It was a image recreated with balloons to look like a Gorey painting and it reminded me of said painting which grossed me out - and because it was trending everywhere at the time I just said it sucks because seeing it kept reminding me of it. I never said I wanted anything banned or whatever over reaction you people are going to come up with next - it just reminded me the same way that seeing my little pony reminds me of bronies and the time I accidentally saw their pony porn on tumblr; like it was gross but I'm not gonna screech after a little kid for wearing a my little pony backpack.

I don’t mind the painting, but I was bummed that they didn’t take the opportunity to use “The Death of Actaeon” instead. That one has someone actually being attacked by dogs. (And is much less gross than this one.)
