Holy shit the Star Wars cookbooks are egregiously bad about this. "Tatooine French Toast" is not a thing. It's just french toast. The fucking stupidest french toast recipe I've ever seen, too.

I run into this a lot when I do themed Halloween parties and try to look up what other people have done, it's never canon foods and just regular food with cute names and vaguely canon-related decorations on them. I made full on New York style hot dogs for my Ghostbusters party, not just green jello.

Oh yes, absolutely. I hate when I'm looking for fandom food and all I can find is twee bullshit like that, especially because it inevitably clogs up my search results >:c

When I see things like "Tatooine French Toast" I giggle and wonder where France is on Tatooine.

oh god, the wookie cookies cookbook is the WOOOOORST

At least it looks like The Powers That Be tried to correct the absolute dumbshit "bland food with made up star wars words on it" approach with the Galaxy's Edge cookbook, because that's more aimed at recreating food from the park that was intended to be new and different? I haven't tried making any recipes from it yet though.
