If you could live anywhere in your home country, where would it be?

Or country you live in now, where would it be?

Probably here in Vancouver. Except I'd move to a sweet apartment in the downtown core, rather than living out here in one of the crappier suburbs.

I might also like to have a place in Kelowna, though. On the lakefront. I just really love the Okanagan weather sometimes. It's dry, and the seasons are so distinct.

I would like to live in one of the small and nice countryside towns, with a high speed internet connection so I could keep working from home. I've been a city slicker my entire life so my cottagecore fantasy is probably completely off lol.

Someplace with good public transit. I think living in DC (or just outside it) would be awesome.

Oregon or Wisconsin, probably.

Honestly, if I could live there and not worry about money/work, the mountainous areas of New Mexico. That area around Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah boarders is really gorgeous between the mountains and desert.

I'd love to live back in Boston. I just really love Boston. I'd love to practice law there.

Second choices would be DC, Fremont California (high immigrant population) or San Francisco California (lots of good immigration judges).

If I have to stay in Texas, I'd most like to live in Austin or somewhere near the border.

I'm honestly pretty happy in the town where I live - I like the climate, there's art and craft and great food, there's lots of beautiful national parks... I guess I'd like to live in a nicer house? But I'm broke, so that's really just wishing I were rich.

I've always wanted to live in Alaska.

Just somewhere safer with no drug dealers, squatters, vandals and rats around anymore. I would even keep on living on my current house provided we get a gate at the alley's entry and clean up everything inside.

Other than that, I'll go curl up in a hole in the mountainside and never move again.

I love the Pacific Northwest of the USA, as well as Hawaii, parts of California, and parts of the desert southwest, but damn do I enjoy living in a place with no earthquakes or hurricanes, where sea level rise and tsunamis are not a danger, and where my city's water comes from the fourth-largest-by-volume freshwater lake in the world.
