However! It was noted that drow skin isn't necessarily "coal black", but could be dark shades of purple or blue, and if people used that, it was less likely to be seen as reminiscent of blackface. I don't know this character or fandom, but in the picture it looks like her actual skin color is a dark midnight blue. So if you go that direction rather than straight up black, get a wig in a matching color, you could still be accurate to the character design without anyone likely to suggest you were trying to do blackface. (Though I mean, there might be some people out there who would take offense at dark-blue-face, but it would be kind of odd...? :P)
