I think I've reached a point in indie games where I get exasperated depending on how they deliver a message. A lot of them are sincere and genuine, but some just feel like...well, Very Indie. I don't know how to explain it, just that seeing characters deliver a Deep, Philosophical and/or Meaningful Lesson has as much a chance of being too quirky and niche that it fails to be charming. I guess that's the best way to describe how I feel?
