I used to be the biggest Penn and Teller fan on the planet but I couldn't reconcile their libertarianism with my being on disability.

Yeah, not only liked their act, but I particularly loved the way that they talked about magic and carefully avoiding any potentially "scam-y" behavior as well as not making audiences complicit in something actually dangerous...and then they just kept going with the serious libertarian politics and it really sucked.

Ugh, same. Love the magic act and skepticism, but the Libertarian bullshit is too much. Even if it weren't so obnoxious, I dislike the way it's so bizarrely naive. Like oh, no need to regulate corporations because unregulated corporations have worked out so well in the past, right?
