Judging from his voice and how his body has changed (http://i42.tinypic.com/2qx43rt.jpg), YOU'RE RIGHT. Aang is definitely not going into puberty at the end of the series. KATAANG IS PEDO OMG

Also, there's NO WAY that Katara's still going through puberty. Yup. She's definitely reached MAXIMUM PHYSICAL MATURITY!

His body is muscular, but that's about it...he's still hairless, and his voice hasn't changed, they actually pitched it up as Eisen was going through puberty.

Katara=pubescent...she doesn't have to reach "maximum physical maturity".

Aang=prepubescent.

It's not a big deal, it's just a cartoon...but yea, until Aang hits puberty it is "pedo". Sorry. And if you want to believe he has hit puberty at the end of the story...well, if it helps you sleep better. Certainly we can agree that for most of the Avatar canon, it is pedo.

I wish I had a *facepalm* icon just for you. I'm really tempted to say you're a troll, because... really? Hairless? By that logic, Sokka and Zuko are prepubescent too. Maybe it's because they're Asian, but more likely because they're freaking cartoon characters, they're all drawn without body hair. Unless you can find me a screencap of Zuko's hairy pits or Sokka's glorious mat of chest hair, I think you're going to have to give that particular point up as a non-issue.

Um, I was only commenting on the screenshot of Aang that supposedly showed a matured body...

Sokka does have a scene where he has to shave his mustache, it's kind of cute.

Just popping in to say that the pitching of the voice happened without the creators being aware. They have stated in the DVD commentaries that whenever Eisen's voice started lowering, they were planning to go along with it, maybe work it into an episode. But because Eisen does all his recording in Connecticut, they were unaware that the sound/voice directors/recorders were pitching up his voice until near the very end. So that's why Aang's voice suddenly starts dropping in the last few episodes.

No, it is sexual attraction to prepubescents. You don't have to be an "adult" to be a pedophile (adulthood is entirely subjective anyway).

I'm not a Zutara fan, no...I'm a Kataang fan even, though I don't really follow Avatar fandom. I just think it's goofy that so many people here think a big age gap is what constitutes pedophilia.
