Well, in the original script, Jeanie and Ferris were both 18. But they also had a little brother and sister who didn't make it to the final cut of the movie, so I don't know if the ages held or not.

Well, Ferris is going to college and Jeanie clearly isn't younger than him, so they must be similar enough in age to be in the same class, although anon above is right that they might be 9 months apart starting after sept.

I think they're twins tho.
