Agreed. I never got into CDrama for this very reason, it's all pretty homophobic and misogynistic stuff that for some reason people get incredibly starry eyed over. Reminds me of Japanese BL in its older days, when there was no criticism of the relationships it portrayed either. Wuxia movies are okay, they are fun (albeit a bit repetitive) action films, but that's it.
