Re: Vent Thread:
These are responsible, careful, science-believing people who got their shots the second they became available. They'd been masking all the time before the vaccines were available, are still mostly socially distancing, and I believe the only social things they were doing recently were things like shopping and possibly getting together with other vaccinated couples, but. :/
(And this is why with my messed-up immune system that long story short means I can't safely be vaccinated, I am staying the heck away from people - masked, vaxxed, or otherwise.)

Getting vaccinated does not stop you from contracting the virus or potentially spreading it to others. The vaccine only teaches your own immune system how to fight the virus so you only feel very mild symptoms if any at all. This is why it is so important to get as many people fully vaccinated as possible.
