I actually really dislike how Avatar the Last Airbender treated Jet, both overall and in comparison with Zuko. I especially hate the episode where Jet finds out Zuko works in the Earth Kingdom. It actually reminded me of how little grace victims get for working through their issues and how much grace shitty people get when they work through theirs.

It sounds like you're saying someone can't be both a victim and a shitty person, and that Zuko wasn't a victim, both of which are patently incorrect.
