Sorry, I never reply to comments anymore. My online persona is no longer active but I leave the stories up just in case anybody wants to read them.

I always reply to comments because I get so few of them. Someone took the time to write me a comment, so the least I can do is say thank you.

I always respond to comments, every single one. And I don't pick and choose or skip around. Comments are the best, so of course I want to comment back!

As an author who doesn't respond to comments due to my own anxiety, I'll say that comments aren't creepy and I would wager most authors who don't respond still appreciate them.

No one owes a reply to a comment, just as no one owes a comment, just as no one owes a fan work. It's all fine and it's all for fun. But yeah, as trends go I'm super psyched about this one.
