There seems to be a whole culture of "I'm writing this for me so there's no reason I would ever edit or try to correct errors" going on in some corners of fic writing. I don't get it, especially since you're literally NOT writing it just for yourself when you put it out online for other people to read (especially when you hint or outright ask for kudos/comments/reviews)
