No worries, I know what you mean - I'm part of a FB rabbit group and it is unfortunately a situation that comes up a lot and everyone wants to help.

I'm thinking Panacur is something we can only get by prescription here though... tomorrow I will hopefully find out what the vet thinks. I have a clinic not too far away with multiple good bunny vets - I'm blessed in that way - but they closed at 5 and Oscar had this fit at like... 5:15. But fortunately it was after I was done with work for the week so I didn't have anything else to do today or tomorrow other than dote on him.

Unfortunately due to what his eyes are doing (it's hard to describe) I get the feeling there is some neurological damage... he is somewhere upwards of 8 years old so it wouldn't be shocking that he might have had a stroke or something. But he is still being the goodest boi in spite of how scared and messed up he must feel - I put him in his litterbox with a bunch of fresh hay, thinking maybe he'd feel better in familiar surroundings than on my bed surrounded by pillows, and first thing he did? Pee. After apparently holding it while on my bed for a couple hours. He ate some of his dinner while I held it in my hand right in front of his mouth so his wobbly head could find it, and then bounced crookedly across the room to sploot in his favorite spot, so I am somewhat less frantic than I was when I commented earlier.

...And just after I typed that he had another fit and I thought he was about to leave me... but I held him long enough and steady enough that he managed to stand back up and can hop a little again. My poor little man. I get the feeling I am not going to sleep tonight. But indeed, I had already been wondering if I should put him in a small carrier overnight padded with lots of towels, and that most recent fit decided it.

God, I'm so sorry for you and your boy, who is indeed a very good boy.

Let's hope the vet can help him!

After a night of not sleeping and checking on him constantly, I'm not quite in panic mode anymore... which is good because the earliest the vets could fit him in (since he's eating, drinking, pooping, and trying to move around when I let him, not a dire "omg come in right now" emergency) is 3pm.

I wonder if I might be able to get some sleep before then. Or if it's a good idea to try. :/
