Nomura's design process in FF8: The graphics department told me that fur is extremely difficult to code. Time to design my characters with fur jackets.

Nomura's design process in FFX: Fur is still difficult to code, but doable. That's not good enough. I need to torture the graphics department even further by making a dress made out of fur and belts.

The graphics department: (just obscures Lulu's dress most of the time in cutscenes)

I have seen so many cosplayers absolutely nail this design, but I'm with OP it's a fucking stupid design. When you nail something perfectly and it still looks like shit, that's all design and not on the cosplayer.

The fur is ok, and I actually kind of love the lace trim. The belts can die in a fire.

One of my bunnies (the one unambiguously sweet one) suddenly suffered some kind of fit and keeps listing to the left. I've calmed him down somewhat and given him treats and he's alert and WANTS to explore since I put him up on my bed but he can hardly walk without falling over.

I love him so much, but he's at least 8 (not sure how old because he was rescued as an adult) so this doesn't look good. And of course it happened when the vet was closed AND my own health issues were going even more haywire than they had been for the last week. I can barely get out of bed myself but I keep trying so I can bring him fresh mint and basil and water in a "dish" shallow enough that he can drink out of it...
